Sam (she/they) is a Queer mom of two Autistic children. Sam moved to RVA in 2012 to attend VCU where she received a bachelor's degree in English. 

Neurodiversity is near & dear to Sam's heart. She was diagnosed with OCD at the age of 17 and Autism at 31. Sam is a member of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network. 

Sam is passionate about the intersectionality between the neurodiversity movement, disability justice, and LGBTQIA+ rights. 

In their spare time, you can find Sam exploring the outdoors or engaging in their special interests (literature and Stranger Things).
