Tiffany is the mom to 2 amazing kiddos, a 21 year old Trans son and a 17 yr old queer daughter.  After her son came out as Trans 6 years ago, she became an active ally in the LGBTQ community, volunteering along with her son in DC with the Human Rights Campaign, SMYAL (Supporting LGBTQ Youth) and as an active organizer of the Northern VA Chapter of Free Mom Hugs before moving back down to the Williamsburg area where she continues to give out Free Mom Hugs and ally support at Pride events across the area.  

Tiffany has been a registered nurse for 28 years, providing care to babies in the NICU, care management to low income pregnant mothers in the community and doing her part during the Covid pandemic with testing and vaccine administration. She began following her current passion of working with psychedelic medicines to help those suffering with mental health conditions in 2022 and is the CEO and Lead Psychedelic Nurse Coach at the Spirit Nurse.   She currently provides Psychedelic Assisted Therapy for mental health and is the creator of the Spirit Nurse Psychedelic Community. 

Tiffany is a psychonaut, a wildlife rescuer, a bird nerd, an artist, a lover of nature, culture, food and travel.  

Sam (she/they) is a queer mom of two Autistic children. Autism is very near and dear to Sam's heart. She was identified as Autistic in 2021 at the age of 27, and her children received their diagnoses at ages 4 and 6. Sam and her family are are supporters of the Autism Society of Central VA. 

Sam moved to RVA in 2012 where she quickly fell in love with the city. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from VCU and happily resides in the Northside area. 

Sam is a lesbian and passionate about the intersectionality between neurodiversity and Queer identities. Her hope for the Quirky Queer Emporium is to empower RVA's Queer and Neurodivergent communities through advocacy, action, and acceptance. 

In her spare time, you can find Sam engaging in her special interests which include books, parenting, psychology, and spirituality.
